Terms of service
This is an English translation. If there is any difference, the Polish version prevails, without limiting any consumer rights that cannot be excluded under the law of your country.
1. Service provider
Services are provided by Barbara Jerzykiewicz-Młynarska, a sole trader trading as Glomani, ul. Stefana Starzyńskiego 2, 35-508 Rzeszów, Poland, NIP 8132543718, REGON 181128142, registered in CEIDG. Services are performed in the salon at this address. Contact: +48 534 432 584, [email protected] (Mon–Fri 9:00–19:00, Sat 8:00–14:00).
2. Definitions
- Provider — Barbara Jerzykiewicz-Młynarska.
- Client — a person using the salon's services or buying a gift voucher.
- Consumer — a Client who is a natural person entering into an agreement for purposes not directly related to their business or profession. Consumer provisions also apply to a sole trader for whom the agreement is not of a professional nature (Art. 3855 of the Polish Civil Code).
- Services — the hairdressing services listed in the Price list.
- Deposit — an amount paid when booking selected services, within the meaning of Art. 394 of the Polish Civil Code (zadatek).
- Voucher — a gift voucher entitling the holder to Services up to a set value or to a specific service.
3. Website and forms
The website glomani.com presents the salon's services. It is not an online shop — there is no basket and no payment on it. The booking and voucher forms are a free electronic service; they prepare an email that you send yourself. They require a browser with JavaScript and an email app. Sending unlawful content is prohibited.
4. Booking a visit
You can book by phone, by email, with the form or in person at the salon. The agreement for a service is concluded when we confirm the time (by text, email or in person) and, for services that require a deposit, when the deposit is paid. The confirmation states the service, the time, the expected price and, where applicable, the deposit amount.
5. Prices and payments
Prices in the Price list are final and shown in Polish złoty (PLN), British pounds (GBP) and US dollars (USD). The Provider is exempt from VAT under Art. 113(1) of the Polish VAT Act. The price depends on the service and hair length and is given before the service begins. Any additional service is performed only after its price has been given and the Client has agreed.
Services are paid for in the salon after they are performed — in cash or by card. Deposits and vouchers are paid in advance: online through a secure Stripe link (Visa or Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, BLIK) or by bank transfer, in PLN, GBP or USD. Online payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Limited, 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin, D02 H210, Ireland. The Provider has no access to full card details. Payments appear on statements as GLOMANI. Details: Payments, deposits and refunds.
6. Deposit and cancellation
For services marked in the Price list as requiring a deposit (lasting 2 hours or more), the time is reserved once a deposit of PLN 100 is paid. The deposit is credited towards the price of the service. The Client may cancel or move the visit free of charge no later than 48 hours before it — the deposit is then refunded in full or, at the Client's request, moved to a new date. If the Client cancels later or does not attend, the Provider may keep the deposit (Art. 394 § 1 of the Polish Civil Code). If the Provider cancels the visit, it refunds the deposit in full or moves it to a new date, at the Client's choice, without prejudice to the Client's rights under Art. 394 of the Polish Civil Code. This section does not limit the right of withdrawal (section 9).
7. Gift vouchers
A voucher can be ordered for an amount (PLN 100, PLN 200, PLN 300, PLN 500 or any amount from PLN 50) or for a specific service. The sale is concluded when payment is received. PDF vouchers are emailed within 1 business day of receiving payment; paper vouchers are handed over in the salon. A voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and is redeemed in the salon. The voucher value is expressed in PLN. If a service costs more than the voucher value, the Client pays the difference; any unused value remains available until the voucher expires. Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash, except on withdrawal (section 9) or an accepted complaint. On request made before expiry, we extend a voucher once, free of charge, by 3 months.
8. Performing the service
We perform Services with due care, using professional hairdressing products. Before a first colour we offer a free patch test at least 48 hours before the visit. The Client informs us of any known allergies, pregnancy, medication affecting the skin and previous chemical treatments on the hair. The result of a colour depends among other things on the natural base and condition of the hair — for big colour changes we explain before starting what result can be achieved in one visit. If a Client is more than 15 minutes late, the service may need to be shortened or moved if it cannot be done without delaying other appointments.
9. Right of withdrawal
A Consumer who concluded an agreement at a distance (for example, booked a visit by phone or email, or bought a voucher online) may withdraw within 14 days without giving a reason, as described on the Right of withdrawal page.
10. Complaints
Complaints can be made as described on the Complaints page. The Provider replies within 14 days.
11. Refunds
Refunds are made within 14 days, in the payment currency and using the same payment method the Client used, unless the Client agrees to another method at no cost to them. Before disputing a payment with a bank (chargeback), please contact the Provider — this does not limit the Client's rights.
12. Personal data
The Provider is the controller of Clients' personal data — see the Privacy policy.
13. Out-of-court dispute resolution
A Consumer may use out-of-court complaint and redress procedures, described on the Complaints page. Using them is voluntary.
14. Final provisions
These Terms apply from 6 August 2026. They do not exclude or limit Consumer rights under mandatory law. Polish law applies to matters not covered here. Agreements concluded before a change to these Terms are governed by the Terms in force on the day they were concluded; a change does not affect vouchers already bought.
